To apply for assistance from the Hudson County Board of Social Services, you can:

    Complete the online application
    Print the application and email it to ssh@hcnj.us

You can also call Hudson County Welfare at (201) 420-3000 for a shelter referral.
If you are homeless after 4:30 PM on weekdays, on weekends, or on holidays, you can call the state's homeless hotline at 211.
